Late last fall, I had happened to be in Boston for work. Given that I had some free time, I made my way out to Brookline to check out the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Housed in a castle-like carriage house is one of the world’s oldest car collections. They also have rotating exhibits – at the time of my visit they were hosting the Lookin’ East exhibit that details the art of the “New England Hot Rod” with several cool old Fords that made the racing rounds back in the day, with the crown jewel being the 1931 Ford Hinman Roadster.
